V & M do BRASIL is well aware of the fact that sustainability is only made viable by a proper balance between good economic, environmental and social management.
Promotion of improvements in quality of life, educational and income-generation programs are all a tangible reality for V & M do BRASIL employees and their families, as well as to service providers, partners and communities with whom the company maintains relationships.
The V & M do BRASIL Group makes use of mechanisms created under state and federal tax-incentive laws (ICMS [state VAT] and Corporate Income Tax) and the FIA (Childhood and Adolescence Fund) so as to establish partnerships with public bodies in funding artistic, cultural, social, educational and sporting activities and projects.
Investments made in this area evolved from R$ 600,000.00 in 2001 to R$ 8,000,000.00 in 2007.
